A few words from John Bell, appearing in Diplomacy in 2018 and returning in 2019
I am thrilled that Ensemble Theatre is going solar; this unique and historic theatre building with its gorgeous harbour setting has always been an icon of self-sufficiency!

Raised So Far

Our Goal

At Ensemble Theatre we experience the environment at its best daily, surrounded by stunning scenery at our harbourside location. We now have the opportunity to set the scene by going solar, helping us protect our beautiful environment, save energy and reduce running costs.

Ensemble Theatre is Australia’s longest running professional theatre and as a not-for-profit organisation, your support is an important part of our income. Our quest to harness solar energy to light our stage was kick-started by Federal Member Trent Zimmerman’s kind contribution of a $16,500 grant from the Department of the Environment and Energy. The implementation of 99 quality solar panels and the power generated will save us significantly in electricity bills.

To take advantage of this contribution and reach our full potential we need to raise $50,000 to cover the installation of the panels. With your generous support we can harness solar energy and move positively into the future, aware of how fortunate we are to work in the midst of such beautiful scenery - both onstage and off!

With the end of the financial year just around the corner, donate now and help us reach our $50,000 target.

Whilst all donations are greatly appreciated, donations of $100+ will be acknowledged on our website, donations of $250+  in our programs, donations of $500 convert to an installed solar panel and donations of $5000+ acknowledged on our foyer screens.
